Believe it or not, I’ve barely been out of Cape Town. I’ve spent my whole life cooped up in the Mother City. Unadventurous and shameful. So when I do get to take a trip, I take full advantage of my stay. Bags (overly) packed, I headed off to Langebaan for a one-night stay at the Sea Waters Holiday Homes near the beach front.
Sea Waters Holiday Homes are located in central Langebaan and provide various fully equipped self-catering apartments. Prices range from R650 per unit and consist of several packages, depending on how many guests are staying over.
On arrival, the first thing I noticed was that area where I was staying was particularly quiet, a welcomed change from the usual busy city. The quaint apartment for two contained a bedroom, fridge, cupboards for storage and a bathroom. The apartment was decorated beautifully, everything minimalist and crisp white – a bloggers dream, ha!
The best part about the apartment is the spectacular window view of the sparkling blue ocean. I had my phone whipped out after 5 seconds of walking through the front door.
You could spend hours just watching boats go by, all from the comfort of the cosy bed. Can you imagine waking up to that view every single morning? I just had to have my Coming To America / Good Morning moment, like a true nerd.
There wasn’t a specific checkout time and I tried my best to sleep in the next morning but couldn’t resist waking up early – which was super unusual for me – and staring at that incredible ocean view.
Sea Waters Holiday Homes offers a great and friendly service, perfect for overnight stays or lengthier holiday trips to Langebaan. For more information, visit www.roomsforafrica.com and request a quote for your next stay.
